Colchester Vermont
The Colchester Vermont facility is the Champlain Headquarters and includes a 180,000 square foot manufacturing plant. Colchester has a full scale research and development operation including compound equipment, an extrusion line, analytical and test equipment. Manufacturing has many state of the art capabilities, including extrusion, irradiation, cabling, braiding and taping. This facility is TS 16949 2009, ISO 9001 2008 and ISO 14001 2004 certified.
El Paso Texas
The El Paso facility was added in 2008 primarily to serve Automotive and Commercial Vehicle customers. The Plaza facility is 80,000 square feet and has all new state of the art equipment including extrusion, irradiation and cabling. Lead wires as large as 550 MCM (275mm2) can be produced here. This facility is ISO 9001 2008 and ISO 14001 2004 certified.
Leeds Massachusetts
The Leeds facility was purchased in 2010 to add much needed irradiation capacity. This facility primarily serves Industrial and Automotive customers. Leeds has upgraded equipment including extrusion, irradiation, cabling and braiding. This facility is ISO 9001 2008 and ISO 14001 2004 certified.
