Champlain Cable Corporation is pleased to announce their induction into the Deane C. Davis Business Hall of Fame.

Champlain Cable was inducted into the DCD Hall of Fame at a special ceremony May 22nd at the DCD Hall of Fame which is housed at the UVM Grossman School of Business in Kalkin Hall on the UVM Campus.

The DCD Award was established in 1990 and named after former Governor Deane Davis. This honor is given to a Vermont company that embraces the unshakable values that Governor Davis brought to his office, enhancing the economy and championing the environment with the help of business and satisfied employees.  The Hall of Fame was established in 2010 to honor the previous winners of the Deane C Davis Outstanding Businesses of the Year. This year they honored five previous winners including Champlain Cable.

About the honor, Champlain’s President Bill Reichert said “Vermont has been our home for 64 years.  We have had a great history over these years through the dedicated work of our employees.  It is an honor to accept this recognition of our employees’ loyalty, service and accomplishments.”
