(Colchester, Vermont) Champlain Cable Corporation, America’s leading developer and producer of wire and cable for extreme conditions and applications, has successfully passed both 100 Base T OPEN Alliance requirements and ISO 6722-1 Class C, 125⁰C requirements for ruggedized twisted pair cables.

This is the first 125⁰C rated 100 Base T twisted pair cable for high speed Ethernet for Automotive and Commercial Vehicle applications. Champlain Cable has already secured approvals from several major OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers for the company’s Ruggedized Ethernet product.

This 125⁰C rated Ruggedized Ethernet cable can be used in high temperature areas on vehicles previously not possible with other Ethernet cables.
